Marion wurde in Dresden / Deutschland geboren und lebt seit 1988, dem Jahr ihrer Ankunft in Australien, an der Gold Coast.

Marion malt seit 1996. Namhafte Künstler wie John Sindelar, Robert Wade, John Lovett und Robert Hagan waren ihre Lehrer. Ihre erste Teilnahme an einer Ausstellung mit Wettbewerb im April 1997 in Coffs Harbour brachte Ihr ein "Highly Commended" ein. Ihre Miniatur 'Scotney Castle' wurde im November 1997 in der Fachzeitschrift 'The Australian Artist' abgebildet. Marion benutzt Ölfarben für grossformatige Bilder als auch für Miniaturen. 

Für die 'Australian Society of Miniature Art in Queensland' arbeitete sie mehrere Jahre ehrenamtlich als Sekretärin, Präsidentin und Ausstellungsleiterin. Ebenfalls organisierte sie eine Wander-Ausstellung im Kulturaustausch mit Deutschland. Sie ist Mitglied folgender Organisationen, die sich speziell mit der Förderung von Miniaturenmalerei befassen und Ausstellungen organisieren:
